Service at Edventure Children’s Museum

From Kymm Hunter, Communications and Marketing Director
Benedict College

Kudos to the fourteen Upward Bound students who brought smiles to many children’s faces as they volunteered at the Edventure Children’s Museum during the Farmville exhibit on Saturday, April 9, 2011. The students helped children prepare home-made ice cream, plant flowers, make arts and crafts, and engaged in various other activities geared towards helping children learn about life on a farm.

The students who so graciously volunteered for this activity include Khadesha Barnes, Desmond Boyd, Shantae Broome, Asia Coardes, Alliyah Corde, Shaquan Dawkins, Jazmine Earvin, Christopher Edwards, Princess Holloway, Jamie Jacobs, Derialle Mundine, Tanisha Washington, and Sammarra Wigfall.

You have served Upward Bound well and we are proud of you!
